Love of God

How much does God love you?

He loves you so much that if you had been the only person on earth,
He still would have sent Jesus to die for you.

The apostle Paul knew how powerful and important a

revelation of God’s love is. In Ephesians 3:17-19 he says, …May

you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that you

may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp…the

experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height

and depth [of it]; [that you may really come] to know [practically,

through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far

surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be

filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God….

Most of us make the mistake of believing that God only loves us

when we do everything right. But none of us do everything right… we all

make mistakes. When we do, it’s easy for us to get upset and not

like ourselves and even assume that God probably doesn’t like us much

either. The problem with this type of thinking is that love isn’t just something

God does—it’s who He is. Our weaknesses and failures can never change

God’s love for us because His desire to love is His very nature.

One of my biggest problems years ago was that I didn’t like who I was, and I spent most of my

time trying to change myself. One area I really struggled with was that I thought I talked too

much, so I tried to be quiet. But then if I was quiet, I would get depressed, and everyone

would want to know what was wrong. I was so relieved when I finally realized that God loved

me just as I am

Love of God and incerease Faith and decrease Fear

Fath:-

Paul makes this clear in Romans 5:6 saying, While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help

ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly. If our heart’s desire is to

be obedient and do the best we can, then that’s all God expects. He is the one who gives us the

grace (power and ability) to help us change in the areas we need to change.

Having a deep understanding of God’s love is also vital to seeing our faith be effective. The

interesting thing about our faith is that it is only effective if God’s love is operating in our

lives. Galatians 5:6 says that faith is activated, energized and expressed as it works through

love. How is faith developed? Through hearing the Word, praying in the Spirit and seeing God manifest

His power in the difficult situations we face. As we continue fellowshipping with the Father,

He demonstrates His true love again and again through His faithfulness, and our faith is made

stronger.

Fear:-

1 John 4:18. It says, There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete,

perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror!…

When you and I know how perfect is God's love toward us, there is nothing in the

world that can make us afraid. It is impossible to fear failure, rejection, lack or anything else if

you really know God loves you. His love covers everything!
